Welcome to MakerWall! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the makerwall.space website and the services we provide. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. About MakerWall
MakerWall is a public, living wall of indie startups. We provide a platform where makers can showcase their projects and get discovered by the community. Our wall features animated displays with tiered visibility options for startups at different stages.
2. Subscription Tiers
Free Tier
Basic listing on the wall with standard tile size and shuffle rotation.
Builder (€5/month)
Enhanced visibility with larger tile, cyan glow effect, do-follow backlink, and more frequent rotation.
Sponsor (€49/month)
Premium placement with sidebar ads, largest tile with pink glow, persistent brand slot, and all Builder benefits.
3. Acceptable Use
When listing your startup, you agree to:
- ✓Provide accurate and truthful information about your startup
- ✓Only list startups or products you own or have permission to represent
- ✓Keep your listing information up to date
- ✗Not list content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- ✗Not attempt to manipulate or game the display system
4. Payment & Refunds
For paid subscriptions (Builder and Sponsor tiers):
- •Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- •Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
- •You can cancel anytime from your dashboard
- •Refunds may be requested within 14 days for unused service
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your startup's brand, logo, and content. By listing on MakerWall, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your startup information on our platform. We may also use aggregate, anonymized data for platform improvements and marketing.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to remove any listing or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may also request removal of your listing at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, paid subscriptions will not be automatically refunded unless otherwise required by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
MakerWall is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through the platform. Continued use ofMakerWall after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
